IBEX receives award at Innovate UK FemTech Accelerator Showcase event

The IBEX Bone Health software has been recognised as ‘Greatest potential benefit to the NHS & industry’ by a unanimous decision from the panel of the Innovate UK FemTech Accelerator programme.

This is a strong endorsement of our efforts to align osteoporosis screening to existing pathways in Women’s Health through our work in Digital Radiography and Mammography.

Osteoporosis is a disease which most acutely impacts post-menopausal women and there is growing demand from NICE – National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and charities such as the Royal Osteoporosis Society for a more proactive approach to screening.

UK Chief Medical Officer Chris Witty underlined in his 2023 annual report that “ill health and disability in older age is not inevitable” with early diagnosis and treatment being key.
