IBEX and MedCom join forces to sell a combined scatter correction and reconstruction engine for CBCT applications.

MedCom GmbH (Darmstadt, Germany) and IBEX Innovations Limited (Durham, UK) are pleased to announce a collaboration and marketing agreement to deploy the IBEX Trueview® gridless scatter correction software within the MedCom recotom® CT reconstruction engine.
Trueview adds accurate and reliable physics-based scatter correction and noise management methods to the market-leading MedCom recotom® software to deliver unrivalled image quality, reduced artefacts, and more accurate HU values for improved diagnostic outcomes.
Under the agreement, both IBEX and MedCom will offer the combined state-of-the-art software package in a single, ready to integrate SDK. The joint product offering is to be targeted across a range of applications, including dental and orthopaedic 3D imaging and other emerging CBCT markets.
