Planmed and IBEX Innovations Sign Collaboration Agreement
Planmed and IBEX are delighted to announce they have signed an agreement to deploy the state-of-the-art IBEX Trueview® gridless scatter correction software in the Planmed Clarity™ product family.
The Finnish medical technology company Planmed Oy and the UK-based medical X-ray software solutions provider IBEX Innovations Ltd. have signed a collaboration agreement. The new agreement allows the integration of the IBEX Trueview® gridless scatter correction software with the Planmed Clarity™ digital mammography systems.
The advanced physics-based scatter removal software, Trueview, enables better image quality, improved workflow and better patient outcomes. It has been demonstrated to give better contrast in 2D and 3D mammograms – with up to 50% lower patient dose and up to 25% less breast compression.

Based on vast experience, the Planmed Clarity product family is Planmed’s second-generation digital mammography line. It has been in the market since 2016 and has been well received among the customers worldwide.
