Staff Profile – Meet Alex Robertson

Hello!

I’m Alex, and I’ve joined IBEX Innovations to help spread the message about the incredible innovations and advances we’re making to improve breast cancer and osteoporosis detection. I’ll be managing our social media accounts, creating and posting content on our website, and just generally trying to get the word out… you should be hearing a lot more from me in the future!

The guys here at IBEX are constantly working on exciting, cool new innovations and products, and I’m going to be working hard to share some of that with you. I’ll be chatting to the team and shedding some much needed light on their interests, their accomplishments, and their goals.

A bit about myself, I recently graduated from Northumbria University with a 1st in International Business Management and, during the third year of my degree, I worked in Canada (where I discovered a love for moose and all things marketing). Outside of work I’m addicted to squash, road trips, and tasty food.

Getting a little more personal, following university I had my sights set on working for an exciting up-and-coming company and to be an important part of a brand’s journey, then I stumbled across IBEX. Fast-forward a few weeks and I’m in the office learning about CBCT, DR, bone health, and the rest!

Full disclosure: my background isn’t what you might call scientific (at all), working with a talented team of world-class scientists and engineers was certainly a little daunting at first, but, once I got chatting to everyone, I felt right at home. It didn’t take long for me to feel that familiar productive energy being amongst such a hard-working group of people.

IBEX has an exciting future ahead and I’m thrilled to be the one who gets to shout it from the rooftops.
