£2m Fundraise Completed
We are delighted to share the news that IBEX has just closed a £2m funding round to fund the next phase in our journey to turn every X-ray into an opportunity to diagnose osteoporosis.
Osteoporosis is a silent disease that often only comes to light following one or more fractures. Sadly, as Chief Clinical Advisor, Dr Sarah Jarvis, MBE puts it, we are in a position of “𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘦” before treating the disease.
For the first time, we are seeing the convergence of the will within healthcare systems to no longer wait for failure, the technology to accurately and efficiently find patients and transformative new drugs which can actually rebuild bone mass.
Having signed deals with X-ray and mammography imaging OEMs in 2024 and demonstrating that improving case finding can save the NHS money, we are now primed ready to deploy IBEX BH in real-world clinical settings through 2025.
